Anyway, today has fortunately been quieter than 2 or 3 days ago. Mad rush for calculating figures. so many numbers. Can't say I'm rotting with nothing to do.

I have decided to give admin 2 names: 1) The job that no one likes to do but must be done so that the company can function. and 2) People give you the things they don't want to do to you to do and you must do it (well, along that line. It's a description to what we do.)

Which most people say is...BORING, TERRIBLE, S U C K Y. I will not use that word. But the descriptions are so apt.

But this job is comfortable, easy things to do, not so specialist skill demanding, yet uses your brain a bit. Gotta remember the SOPs ok? (standard operating procedure), and then don't follow them in some situations. Good pay, air con environment...

Not for me. It's ok, but I wanna be active; I am energetic to the point I have been described as rambunctious. I want to stimulate my mind. I want to look forward to work just as I looked forward to school. (I miss school. I miss my classmates too.)

I "spammed" the zoo with my emails with my application to different jobs there. I have also applied to work at Sentosa. I want to try working in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Do I dare make a video resume? No I don't. JobsDB offers that. Anyway, I think you foreigners (non-PR) looking for job should try looking at JobsDB. I'll keep a lookout for you too and keep you posted. I think you all should check out Sentosa. I do wonder why companies request only Singaporeans and PRs to apply.

I hope to see my classmates again. Shean and EH are in Singapore. One day I'll go see them?

Yup, I've been musing again. If I'm not wrong, everyone has a celebrity dream: they dream that they are singer, dancer, actress, movie maker, writer, model, etc.. Yup. I have dreamt quite a few of these occupations. I dreamt that I'm a singer who can sing beautifully and maybe sing along to my guitar, which I will play well (you've heard me say this before right? and you know that I can't do it, right?) Yup. No confidence, not much musical talent. It's gone to my sisters. My relatives and parents' friends joke that we siblings (and maybe cousins) can form a band, cos us are 4 brosisters.

I have also dreamt of being an actress in a movie that is oscar standard beautiful. Lord of the Rings, Narnia, or something that really tugs at the heartstrings of all, though it may not be a tragedy film. I imagine some drama scene playing in my head where I am acting in it. I dunno. I also wished I would be a Disney or Pixar voice actress. That would be so cool lah! Or maybe a musical actress, now that's really talented.

I have also dreamt of being an....ACROBAT! Yes. Acrobat. I always gaze in awe when people do acrobatics. That probably is the reason why I liked gymnastics lessons in primary school, joined cheerleading in JC and wanted to try to be a flyer for a while. That's why you see me practice after PE lesson.

This is turning out to be like a confession statement. There are more dreams, cos my interests are very diverse. But I know I'm not good in any of them. sigh. Haven't found my talent yet, or I may not have recognised it yet. sigh.

Then, many people have told me, "you so tall and slim, can be model". I say: "No way!" I remember telling you why before. I was on the bus going home from school one day and heard a bunch of people from SAJC as well, talking. I could hear what they were saying. And I think they were talking about me, cos their descriptions quite matched me. Then, when I turned to look at them, I think they gasped "she's looking at us!". I've got a 3rd reason to not be a model now: "I can't balance in heels well. oww the pain." :P

Anyway, put that all aside, I would like to congratulate MT for 2 things. 1) her braces are removed. a big milestone, yes, and 2) getting into her first choice of SAJC science. (WOOHOO! I cheer cos I've scored a goal too. heehee.) Now most likely she's gonna wear my uniform. except the skirt. (insider joke about the skirt. hahaha.)

Now it's 4.29pm. Took so long to write this all out, because I was disrupted by my job duties. It's all right. =)

Ah yes! How could I have forgotten?! SINGAPORE WON THE 2010 YOUTH OLYMPICS BID!!!!!YAY, yay, yay..... I really hope I would get the chance and do volunteer for the event. I've always wanted to volunteer for the Olympics!
