Hallo,

here's my first blog post from my hall room. same hall, different room, cos now i'm in a single room.

a quickie here cos I want to sleep (8am german class) but not so yet, only after I finish my mum's walnut cake and the cup of add-too-much-water-again horlicks.

about the korean girls in last post: there were these 4 who were friend's friends of Joanna and Jo was roped in to befriend them and take them around Singapore. Jo can converse in Korean, picking it up from idunnowhere. They weren't hot like the stars but some of them were pretty. That's what the guys said. Some guys just dream of Korean girls... those on tv that is. I am surprised that not all the girls were heart face or moon face - got one oval. They were here to learn English and try to secure a job in Singapore. I conversed a bit with them, choosing deliberately to sit next to them during supper, where they had joined us. (we arrived at the supper place surprised to see Jo and the 4 of them there.) The one who conversed the most, the most outspoken and the funniest/most entertaining personality was the fat one - not to be mean but the others were much slimmer than her. Her name was Sally if I'm not wrong...err the 4 of them were Candy, Sharon, err... got C and S one. Sally dared to joke, tease etc. I hi-fived with her a few times when I agreed with her opinion. She was a bit like Joanna, no wonder they click so well. The other 3 girls were more reserved and talked much more Korean than English, very little english conversation was made. Anyway Jo brought 2 of them to see fencing on the novices team day because that was the last chance they could see fencing before they would leave Sg. Nice knowing them :)

Mum flew back to Shanghai today. Last night I stayed home, she even brought KM home. She wanted to spend time with her children for her flight today, 5pm, we wouldn't be able to see her off. One didn't expect that Mrs Wong and her talked a lot, mrs wong wanted to share a lot with her, that mum reached home so late KM and MT were zzzing liao. So the last time I managed to see mum was this morning when she brought me to school.

this morning ESE3001 lab. chemistry lab again so fun, not as fun as MOE school days though. burette, pipette, titration, indicator. and I overshot both samples I was titrating. champion. some new instruments include digital titrator and magnetic stirrer. lab report will need more work than during MOE school days though.

today studied in the library with zx, wc, yj, flo, jess, though not all at the same table. we were clustered around the same area. work was done. for curved surface area of cone, is int(2*pi*r)dh using r=f(h) substitute in that equation, valid? i got a different answer when i used area = pi*r*l

things to bring next week for hall: shampoo, toothpaste, weebo, more clothes, bedsheet, hand moisturiser and hand sanitiser.

I forgot my Bible and devotional :(
