June 2009's entries - part one

FOR THE LAST OF MAY 2009'S ENTRIES, PLEASE LOOK AT THE PREVIOUS ENTRY. I POSTED IT NOT TOO LONG AGO.

5th June, Friday. MP and I were bored, so we decided to walk around novena. We walked around the NTUC at Square 2, as well as the Korean minimart. We had a good talk and saw many things. There was individually shrink-wrapped cucumbers at the Korean minimart. "Would you like to have one individually-wrapped cucumber?" that would be an amusing question. We worked our way top-down. I also deposited money at POSB. We stopped by Mr. Beans where MP used her voucher and we got ourselves soya bean ice cream. I must confess I dont like it. Ive never been a fan of soya bean. We walked down and at the basement, saw a pet shop that specialised in fish, and was probably from the same chain at plaza singapura, judging from the design of the place, especially it being next to the escalator, and using red laminate. MP and I enjoyed looking at the fish (we were brought up that way, our father and grandfather keep fish as pets) till we spotted one extremely FAT goldfish trapped in a gap of one of the tank decorations. I got MP to alert the store keeper and he freed that EXTREMELY FAT goldfish from its predicament. We also found a Japanese snack store that has a (bigger) branch at jurong point. I saw Qoo, a drink I like but hardly see nowadays. XD Later at Novena square side before going home I popped into Levis to check the price of belts. $75 for a white genuine leather belt. Expensive, but so nice. And its genuine leather. I then crossed over to Levis signature. $35 for a black PVC belt. Haizz... so thats the price for genuine leather. PVC ones keep cracking on me, so I have kinda given up on them. We returned home happy. (: a special outing with my twin! Heehee.

Fencing t shirts arrived on Thursday, I was quite happy when it did. My project has finally reached its last stage and was almost complete. All that was left was for people to pay and collect their shirts and I could see my design manifest itself physically. I didnt expect the words to be that big I didnt intend it that way. But I am happy. And I see people wearing them :)
Friday, 12th of June. MP and I went to Carrefour at Plaza Singapura to buy the ingredients for the picnic. We were horribly efficient shoppers as usual and were in and out in half an hour. We got ourselves some ham, bread, smoked salmon and other things. At the food level we met Sandy, our fellow surname former classmate. What a coincidence (: We stopped by Saybons because I had never had anything from there before. I never had a crepe till that day when I took a bite of MPs while walking home. And my seafood bisque smelt so good and tasted so good too. ^^ :D
