I went to Global Day of Prayer at National Stadium on Sunday. I had seen the adverts before but wasn't so for going because i felt unsure. during 5pm service, the pastors showed a presentation on it and went through the service quickly so that they could quickly head off to National Stadium. service ended half an hour earlier.

after rushed preparations and dinner, Mum, Shelby, MT and I went to National Stadium. That day, 24 000 people turned up, though it was half the national stadium, it was TWICE what the Indoor stadium could accomodate, so thank God that they booked National Stadium.

When we were greeting each other, i didn't realise that my couz was sitting behind me! haha! no wonder he looked familiar.

We sang songs in English and Mandarin. I like singing. We also had a bit of a sermon and mass prayers. We witnessed the Pentecostals and the conservatives like the Evangelicals reconcile with each other via representatives on stage. they even washed each others feet.

we had small group prayer in groups of 3 to 8 people. the 4 of us combined with a couple. we prayed for repentance and to make us more aflame for God. this might sound like some cult but it's quite personal, you won't understand if you've never experienced it before.

we also prayed for the world, for it to be healed and for countries to become under God's leadership, his perfect leadership so that there won't be corruption and the citizens will live the best lives possible.

there also was a special prayer for the youths, to set us aflame and spread his gospel while we grow in his name to be more Christ-like and treat everyone with Christ-like love, just as He loved us.

i'm really glad that I went to it. Might go again next year.

I finished tutorial 7 for physics today. Whee!

I helped MT draw fuzzy-wuzzies for her class T-shirt design. so cute! haha. was playing fuzzy-wuzzy with Shelby. she took sometime to figure it out but she did in the end. yay.
