today went out for lunch and shopping with MP, eli, shelby and grace. however, can't really say that grace went shopping since she didn't buy anything besides food.
met at 11.30 am at the fishtank at wisma. MP spotted them. I began to creep up to them. MP got the idea too. so we quickened pace until we are like silently running then we POUNCED! both of them got a shock. XD
eli came at 11.30am . 4 of us all there at 11.20 waiting for 10 minutes. we even went inside Samuel and Kevin, and a bit of OP maybe?
went to look at U2. MP got a pink square cut tank top.
look at the shops along the way to taka. shelby and eli entered how many shops to look at the things there. lagging mp and i back! grace was so poor thing. looking lost. follow us or stay with them. Mp and i came back to get them. the shop they were in sold vintage.
in taka (finally), went to look a bit inside perlini's silver. i thought about getting a pair of ear studs since i only have the one i pierced with AND it's been past 3 months since the day i pierced. the $5 wasn't too bad. but i was setting aside my money for my messenger bag. so if i had enough i would come back later to get it. i also saw a necklace with a medium-sized lizard pendant on a black cord. $15 or so. not too bad. looked nice. but i not interested in buying jewellery at that point of time and i don't wear jewellery. but it's nice to look at. i like looking at nice designs. that's why i'm happy if u put me at B1 of tangs. u find out for urself what's there.
we passed by guess b4 reaching perlini's. shelby said someone told her that m_____s__ worked there. MP and i looked in. couldn't see her. but we didn't want to look obvious that we were checking if it was true.
stopped by mango. i just see-see what they were seeing. you know who i'm referring to by the "they".
MP and i went down to look at the food. my stomach was scolding me. the other 3 didn't follow. later she had to call me up to the accessories shop.
looking at the food area downstairs at the taka side. so much food! thought of eating at the food court.
back up at the accessories shop....it's a children's accessories shop! the hats there, the flip-flops, whatever was there was small! and of a child type of design. shelby was happy. i thought the hats were nice-looking, if they could fit me. haha.
shelby recommended a $5 katsudon downstairs. i tried it. not too bad. but the chicken a bit too salty and the miso was chunky in the miso soup, not smooth. the ebi tempura from elianna, it didn't have much taste as i would like it to have.
then to the bossini shop that MP and I spotted when we were downstairs earlier. saw these nice tops at the entrance. in the end, we got a green polo tee, and a black and a purple tee. the design was so nice!! glitter, and the polo one had a piping across the back that looked really sporty. nice! and then we found out the card mum gave us was a terminated one. brilliant. what's even more brilliant was that this is the wrong card! mum has 2 cards and she gave us the wrong card. brilliant isn't it? we paid for these shirts with our own money!
walking around, we came across this shop called Hushush. it's a japanese concept store that just opened up in HK and here. Omgosh. de javu! i remember that newspaper clip on the wall and the shop! interesting...haha! :D
shelby took a long long long time to decide over this particular orange top. size 1 or size 2? 15 to 20 minutes or even longer just to do that. eli already had got a black top before that, and while shelby was deciding, got another top for her sis. and MP got a nice looking tank top that we're going to share as well besides the bossini ones. she got size 2 after a lot of consideration (and recommendation from us). shelby gone mad over orange because of her dear love (or should i say one of her dear loves) heehee. but pls shelby, please don't go overboard abt ur obsession. i know someone who has and hers is so serious i think she has to go to IMH. seriously. i won't describe it here.
went up to kinokuniya. cute things there. spent a bit of time there. while MP Q-d with eli and grace because they were using Mum's card, shelby and I went into taka 4th floor to the sports section to look for my bag. i found it at adidas. after much consideration with the other choices, i settled with this bag. this was the one i saw at citylink mall. i think i made a good choice now. i wasn't sure earlier. and it was $50, 1/3 the price of crumplers. AND, i had a $10 taka voucher. so, i paid $40 only! haha!
my messenger bag! Fifa World Cup 2006 Germany! haha. i like watching football but don't support a team. neither do i watch the "beautiful game" frequently. (don't ask me to support man u or chelsea u fans out there!)
later went down to find the 3 of them at the barbie section. MP was with me. after much deliberation, shelby decided on which doll for her b'day prezz. she just looks at the beauty of the doll. reminds me of "red sky in the morning". Anne Peacock liked looking at pretty things. ya. i'm understanding. while at kinokuniya, shelby said that "sentimental pple are understanding pple" after i said that she was being sentimental and that i was too. she asked if i still used wooden pencils.
i went to the COMMODE stand for the hats twice during shelby's deliberation. the hats were so nice! i think i look good in hats but i didn't buy any since i didn't have enough money left and that i would have not much use for it. the hats were so nice! i liked the grey beret type one (it's not a REAL beret) and the cameo print hat with the 2 sides flipped up. so australian! (i love australia)
before making our way to somewhere for food, i spotted moshi moshi (pronounced "mosh mosh". heard it from host sister's father while i was in japan). took a look at the ear studs. $5.10. not bad. only 10cents difference. i bought the curly design. ^-^ my first pair of ear studs that are not the ones i pierced with! i think this was a better choice than the one at perlini's . that one was much smaller i think. i'm wearing it now. it's much less painful putting it on. the other pair got the pointed end. ouch when the end pokes the inside of my ear while trying to find the hole so it can exit the other end.

went to cold storage. dad says this is the best place to get sushi & sashimi(besides good restaurants). i now know why. there are 3 sections for it! 1 stand up section for a chunk of sashimi wrapped in a foam tray and cling film, 1 prepacked sets and 1 for pick&mix. WOW!!! my eyes lit up at the food!!! was so hungry! stomach was crying! i was thirsty so i went to look for a drink first before deciding on how much of what sushi to buy.
orange lemonade. 85cents. i have $2. earlier i saw that the tuna and salmon sushi was 75cents each. do a bit of calculation. i can buy 1 sushi! so i did. bought 1 tuna sushi. i asked the person there if it was possible. can. i'll put up a pic of how it looks like to buy 1 sushi when i can get it into the laptop.
sorry shelby for splattering the soya sauce onto your top while opening the packet! after that, i mopped up whatever soya sauce i could pick up from the tray (there wasn't much) and popped the whole thing into my mouth. oishii! but can never beat the one at ASKA at hyatt jb. the sushi absolutely ROCKS down there. but the sushi at cold storage taka is the best one u can buy and bring home and is affordable too (compared to at a restaurant).
we all took a break at a bench. drink and eat up. then proceeded for home. today was a very good day. a successful shopping trip! =D
tomorrow, or rather today, (12.48 am now) i gonna have a hair cut. mt and gu zhe want me to have a change in hair style. i don't want to. i didn't exactly start blogging at 11.06pm as it says here (but not on my blog) because i was chatting. boy, i wrote a lot.
last night, from 12.15am to 12.45 am or so, can't remember how long, i taught mp the beginning part of differentiation. the 1st things i learnt. and she covered quite a bit! more than i did in my first lesson. now much drill her and teach her the more difficult ones. muhuhahaha...mp, differentiation isn't as easy as what i taught you last night!
