quick one here while shelby's having lunch...

i haven't been updating my blog because this week i decided to go cold turkey on internet...only went online yesterday. that cartoon you see up there, i found one on dorkie's blog and thought it was cool. i like making cartoons like this. so fun. but for the MSN Meegos, you gotta pay if ya wanna keep it. this is free (yay!)

on 16 June, it was OG16's birthday. they wanted to go out for dinner and movie. played the waiting game, AGAIN... while waiting for hui juan to buy something, i went back to cityhall MRT to look for Sheena. found her in a corner, sitting on the floor. i joined her and had a chat. it's easy to talk one on one with some people but when there's a group of people (like my OG whom i don't click very well with), i shut up. silent. I saw dorkie. she went to collect her pay. hey!!!

i didn't join the OG for dinner and movie because I was going out for dinner with my much-closer-to-me friends. anyway, their dinner was so expensive... i feel so poor looking at the menu. i refilled my water bottle at the restaurant. so embarrasing but i don't want to pay for drinks at the steamboat place.

met up with WR, Rebekah, YN and MP at Marina Bay MRT station. WR put on weight from her HK trip. My 4e2 SMSS gang! haven't seen them for such a long time! =D =D. we had the $12 steamboat. we had a great time. and there were fireworks too. i wonder why they are firing them. the last time i went to the steamboat place i also saw fireworks fired from the bay area... It's so much nicer when eating dinner with close friends.

a Lot happened this week but i can only remember what happened yesterday. i woke up at 7.15am and decided not to go back to bed (yay!) while relaxing around in the cool calmness of early mornings, i got a call from Mrs Chong. GP lesson was shifted up from 1pm~3pm to 11.30am~1.30pm. so i had to sms everyone in class about the new time slot. it must be fated that i woke up early that day. JY replied "What?" in shock. he rushed down from JB. i was the first to arrive to the com lab. the others arrived later bit by bit. YS rushed here (she has a long bus ride to school) with her hair still wet. Lynn as well rushed down because she didn't check her phone and still thought it was 1pm! GRR! nvm. hahha! we were laughing profusely when Mrs Chong asked us who believed in Prince Charming and for a word for a person who did believe in him. none of us do but we girls believe in Mr. Right. Mrs Chong even sang the 1st line of "Someday my Prince will come" to try and give us a hint on that word that starts with letter R (the word is Romantic). HAHAHA!!!

when i read that passage about quirkyalones, i fit in very well with what they said (but i don't believe in Prince Charming who will sweep me off my feet just by his looks. that's lame.) most of us girls too fit into that category of quirkyalones. we wouldn't even think of dating anyone any old how. we value relationships.

the sad thing about our class (to us locals) is that 2 of our classmates confirm can drive already! in Malaysia, you can drive at 17. and half my class are going to be 18 this year. we locals have to wait till we're 18! oh well... I want to drive! it gives me independence and mobility. and to YN, it's cool. I decided i would get a mini cooper and paint a design on it myself, if i had the money. fuel and COEs are expensive.

i've got a lot to say but i'm not good at saying them. sometimes i forget what i want to say as well. but i'm still as noisy as ever.

just checked MP's blog. now i remember what happened. on thursday, MP, Shelby & i went to East Coast to go cycling. we were bringing KM to his class bbq. unfortunately, KM was VERY disobedient and created a lot of problems for MP and I. i hope i didn't get any white hair.

we rented bicycles from Wimbeldon (that's the name of the shop), the one furthest from McDonalds in that area. it's a small shop but the bicycles are in good condition and it's cheap! $4 for an hour, and they had a promotion of 1hr + 1hr free. so we paid $4 for 2hours! we cycled to this breakwater where we took photos with Auntie Rita's camera. (she didn't send us all the pics though). we posed all those usual shots that one would take at breakwaters. all those chinese drama serials. i had to take the angle properly so that the background and the person will be complementing. i had to specify only front and look-up shots because top-down would not be good. this place is about reflecting. if you don't zoom in onto the person or zoom out all the way, you won't get the emotion of reflecting. and MP, i think your entry a bit too blown up. i don't think you were thinking like that on the breakwater. are you imagining you're in a movie? later we cycled all the way to Bedok Jetty and back. i felt i had a really good exercise. also, we saw Ski360, the new cable waterski park. got the prices pamphlet somewhere. it looks fun! not too bad the prices... i enjoyed cycling, i haven't done so for a LONG time, first time this year i think. now for ice-skating which i haven't done for YEARS...

i'm feeling...
