yesterday was PW day. And to most people's suprise, it wasn't that bad. initially, that word was groan-inducing.

most of us finished our work early so we were slacking. we watched videos, played music and watched slideshows of pictures of the class that was on my laptop on the projector screen. haha, we hooked it up. JY played a video of Hossan Leong singing some funny song about Singapore at the Old Parliament House from the Mr Brown website on his laptop. It's SO funny!

today was The Amazing Race by the 7th House Council as part of the post-exam activities. Ben & Jerry's sponsored the cash prizes and came down to sell ice-cream at $2 per scoop!

Less than half the class turned up for the games. i think some of them who were from AVA, with the exception of SY and Zac(whom I saw talking to a teacher but never was with us), had to do video-editting. poor thing. the others ponned. But we had a lot of fun.

We were first supposed to find 5 pieces coloured rafia (for Venn house, it was twine dyed black) then find a certain person to proceed to the next event. we couldn't find our twine, at all. s01 found theirs very quickly. i've no idea where ours were. we saw a lot of other colour raffia tied underneath the benches in the canteen and study areas.

the person excused us and let us go to the next thing. we had to human wheelbarrow around the 400m track once. since we were a small class, we had some leeway where we could change the person carrying the wheelbarrow.

after each station, we had to look for a house captain, who always were very elusive. the loyfatt captain on seeing HK approaching him ran away from us and disappeared. gosh, so evil. we all wanted to kill him(not literally duh).

the only 2 guys who turned up drank a lot of water at the water-drinking station, through the 4 long straws constructed from 5 normal straws each. the 2 guys took one straw each by mistake and we girls were not going to share straws with them. the girls swapped among themselves. some of us girls didn't drink. we also got a discount. we drank less water than what was required.

at the tennis court, we were to make human structures. we made a 2-dimensional slide where YS had to "slide" down it. for the 3D one, we had discount, we were supposed to be a bowling alley with someone bowling but we were a TV set and I was a CNN newspresenter. i anyoldhow make up exxagerated news where a bomb exploded in SAJC but no one was hurt but there was a heat stroke and 1000 casualties because play for 24 hours. i really didn't know what to say. :S tongue-tied.

At the basketball court, SY had to use a plastic board to deflect water bombs into a bucket. he also used the bucket to catch the flying bombs. the bombs were launced at him by us almost one after another.

for the internal-external photo challenge, JH, SY and HK did the internal while YS, Lynn and I did the 1st half of external while YH, Elissa and HR did the second half of external. the 6 of us took a long walk round the curvy road since the side gate was locked. about 1km of walking. YS and Lynn stopped over at McD's and helped me order while i went to take 1 photo. we had filet-o-fish. in addition to that, Lynn had an apple pie and half a cup of hot milo while i had the other half. ooops. i drank from the same cup. i don't think she as any virus. i'm fine still. yep. the hot milo felt good.

we took a stroll back to school, we planned to take the other picture which was located outside the side gate. didn't buy food back for the 3 others. ooops.

we didn't win, quite expected. each of the top classes from each house had to finish ice-cream from b&j and the fastest would win, it was a big tub but only a small portion was filled. Romanis which won ate so fast! i wouldn't be able to do so i think. those 15 people had free b&j. after that, i had a scoop of chocolate fudge brownie. it was so nice! and i didn't have to queue for a long time unlike before the final ice-cream eating showdown. it's the 3rd time i ate b&j ever. i like that flavour a lot, the brownies provide nice texture.

tomorrow it's back to normal. *sigh*. i don't want to have regular CCA meets, i don't want superlong days unless they're going to be all play, like for the past few days. i wanna play... *sigh*. hope i would get good results for my other subjects. i got borderline As for Maths and Physics.
